This should allow for the reconstruction of the Zagreb \u2013 Belgrade line, stretching for 412 kilometers mostly through Croatia. <\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Some works have already been done on the track between Oku\u010dani and Novska, expected to be finished soon, and five years ago the part between Vinkovci and Tovarnik was completely reconstructed. The common aim would be to reduce travelling time from six to less than three hours, and increase speed of trains to 120-140 km\/h. Minister Butkovi\u0107 is accompanied by representatives of various H\u017d (Croatian Railways) components, and representatives of HC (Croatian Roads) and the Air Traffic Control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">The ministers are expected to also discuss road transport, including bridges between the two countries, and internal waterways and navigation, including projects of increasing depth of Danube at Ilok and Vukovar. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Calibri;\">Croatia and Serbia could also exchange experiences in cooperation with China, as the China Bridge and Road Corporation, which won the Pelje\u0161ac Bridge tender, also constructed the Bor\u010da \u2013 Zemun bridge in Serbia.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Croatian Minister of Transport Oleg Butkovi\u0107, and his Serbian counterpart DPM Zorana Mihajlovi\u0107 are meeting today in Belgrade, and are expected to sign a memorandum on promotion of railroad transport.
