The Government decided to propose<\/a> a new Agrokor administrator to the court. This time, the administrator would have a deputy. Both Mr Fabris Peru\u0161ko, the new administrator, and Ms Irena Weber, his proposed deputy, already work in Agrokor, in its Tisak division. <\/span><\/p>\n

PM Plenkovi\u0107 said of Peru\u0161ko that he has significant experience in the restructuring process and that the government therefore assumes he would be able to take on the responsibility. Ms Weber was also cited as having rich experience that could contribute to Agrokor\u2019s functioning. <\/span><\/p>\n

Peru\u0161ko stated that he and Ms Weber are \u201cin Tisak since the beginning of the interim administration, where we have achieved good results. It is everybody\u2019s goal to have this process finalized on time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Answering a question from the press on whether all the creditors agree with his choice, Plenkovi\u0107 said that some members of the Creditors\u2019 Council saluted the choice, while others said they cannot comment as of yet. \u201cThere was no whining nor crying nor desperation, it cannot be said they have denied us a green light\u201d. \u00a0As for the new duo, Plenkovi\u0107 said that \u201cit is not quite continuity, they were involved with particular parts and not directly with the proposed arrangement. First they must acquaint themselves, and only then can they come up with proposals. These are new people who will make the best decisions.\u201d \u201cWhile choosing the candidates we took great care to avoid any context that could be seen as potential or actual conflict of interest. When one considers the topic and the number of people already engaged in the process, this was not at all easy and we contacted only a few people.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

According to Plenkovi\u0107, \u201cthe concept of the final arrangement is on the table, and the new administration will have to acquaint itself with the details and have initial conversations. The important thing is that everything is done according to the law, and that there is a final deal that perhaps would not satisfy everyone but would secure a future perspective to all actors. But the part related to the past will have its price and everybody must count that in.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Plenkovi\u0107 also said the government was in touch with Sberbank as the largest individual creditor, where the government expects the bank to \u201cmake appropriate moves, which the new administration will take into account, but for now the situation is constructive\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Commenting on statement by Milorad Pupovac, a coalition partner, that DPM Dali\u0107 must leave the government, Plenkovi\u0107 said that Pupovac was in the meeting where the new administrators were presented and Ms Dali\u0107 was present, and has given the process his full support.
