Trgovina Krk is majority (90%) owned by \u010cakove\u010dki Mlinovi, together with Metss, Trgocentar Virovitica, Trgostil, Radnik Opatija, Vra\u017eap, and Poga\u010da Babin Kuk, and functions within the National Trading Chain (NTL, Nacionalni Trgova\u010dki Lanac), and covers the island with retail stores dealing in everything from hardware to groceries. Before the takeover, Kvarner Punat was a part of the Ultra Gros trading group. Mr Dubravno Fanuko, director of Trgovina, will become the CEO of both companies, but for now both chains will keep their distinct personalities. They are also planning to open two new shopping centers on the island.
