Croatia Industrial Production Grows

According to Eurostat’s data, Croatia, Ireland and Denmark have seen the biggest October growth of industrial production in the EU. Ireland did best, with monthly growth of 10.6%, followed by Denmark, with 2.8% and Croatia with 2.7%. This is almost two times the 1.4% growth recorded in September.
The biggest monthly drop was recorded in Malta, -6.1%, followed by Portugal, -2.3% and The Netherlands, -1.8% down.
On EU level, adjusted industrial production in October grew by 0.3% compared to September, when it went half a percent down.
The biggest sectoral growth was recorded in production of non-durable consumer goods, whereas the production of durable consumer goods went down by -1.7%.
In the Eurozone, industrial production went 0.2% up compared to September 2017, when it went down the EU average -0.5%. The Eurozone produced 0.5% of non-durable consumer goods more than in September, but production of durable consumer goods went -1.9% down.
