Construction Orders Up

The total value of all construction works in Croatia conducted by companies with 20 or more employees rose by 1.2% in the third quarter of 2017. Total value of new orders is also up, by 5.8%, according to the State Statistics Bureau.
Total value of construction in Q3 was Kn 5.09 billion, out of which Kn 3.69 billion was implemented directly and the remaining Kn 1.53 billion through sub-contractors, of which 55.2% on new construction (44.8% “other”), and 44.6% on buildings (and 53.4% on “other construction”).
Value of new orders in Q3 was Kn 4.53 billion, out of which Kn 1.98 billion for buildings and the remaining Kn 2.54 for “other construction”.
Value of completed construction for the first three quarters of 2017 is up by 3.1%, and value of new orders is up by 13.1%.
