Pevec d.d. hardware store chain has acquired a portion of Z1 television, and announces spreading into marketing, with the intention to produce their own shows, oriented primarily towards the DIY audience. The company statement stresses that Z1 is one of the most popular local stations in Zagreb, but is also present throughout the country. Their goal, they say, is to create a ‘modern channel with interesting programmes’ and ‘new standards of production’.

At the same time, the company is planning to start their own web shop, and integrate the platforms to create a consumer-oriented approach.
